Wonder if it qualifies as mechanical. It uses 5x5x2mm tactile SMD buttons for the switches / keys.
Let me know if it should be moved to a different category.

I tried those switches in some of my game console projects, and they are absolutely horrible for keyboards. They have pretty high actuation force, and the metal “cap” bites into your fingers. You really want to have some sort of key caps on top of something like this.
