I’ve been posting this board in a bunch of places, but I still can’t get over that VHS finish. Going to try the vinyl tape mod mentioned a few posts up, but otherwise this is a joy to see and type on.

difficult, indeed! I think I just kept on sliding temperature and tint sliders back and forth until I finally settled on something that visually matched

We’ve been doing a bit of inventory of my stuff lately (digging in the deep archives) and just discovered that I appear to have the following units available:
- 3 x WKL Norbaforces Mark I in Astrophysical Purple. (The Mark I uses a USB C connector and requires a cable with a Type A connector on the distal end.)
- 1 x Norbaforce Mark II Standard in Astrophysical purple.
- 4 x Norbaforces Mark II in K2
This is what Astrophysical looks like:
Winkeyless has become a quite rare and in-demand option, and in the event of any future runs of the Norbaforce it is unlikely to make a return (because it’s such a niche thing).

I would love to grab one of these but since the breakout pcbs are sold out, I’m hesitant

Yes, I’m just currently in the process of reworking those kits. My plan is to combine them into a single kit that has both R2 and 87U PCBs.
Or if you were asking about the Mark I, I have plenty of those on hand as well. You can always just email me and I can arrange to sell you one.

I’d like to buy a K2, but if the breakout pcb is sold that…that means I won’t be able to use the case right?
I’m already waiting on 2 Heavy 9’s, so would also be great if I could add to the order and save some on shipping (although I understand the concept of logistics…).

if you’re referring to the listing from yesterday, iirc it said that breakout pcbs were included for these specific ones.

Very excited that I was able to snag one of the K2 finishes! Regarding that, I was wondering if we might see a return of the wool dampener to the web store at some point?
