I’m just hesitant to recommend it because the cost of entry is just so high. I love even the sub-par Topre experience that is my entirely stock Novatouch.

I’m willing to shill for Niz and recommend them as well. Less strongly tactile than Topre but still very nice, and probably much nicer if you don’t have any intention of modding. You get more options for dome weight, RGB and Bluetooth versions, very solid plastic case, includes a nice braided USB cable (removable on some models), full programmability if you download their software, and handsome dye-sub Cherry-profile PBT stock keycaps. All that for as little as half of what a comparable Topre keyboard costs? What’s not to love?
