Same, I was trying to not spend a bunch while the pandemic is still going on, but I caved on a good bit of KB stuff in the past month. :thinking:

My personal experience, and the experience of several other vendors are a significant increase in orders.

Retail therapy at it’s best. It’s why I bought a significant amount of stock in Visa and Paypal. Crazy returns at the moment. Almost 50%!

Smart moves :slight_smile: I wonder how do you think of your big keyboard related stuff collection … do you see it as a big long term investment, or like seeing yourself letting 99% of the stuff go in 10-20 years ?

I Imagine the collection will continue to grow. As it does, the less unique boards will get sold off. I have a hard time letting go of keycaps, though. :upside_down_face:

Interesting. I definitely feel the retail therapy, but I’ve cut back on my keyboard spending significantly the past couple of months. Maybe it’s just because I don’t feel like ordering things I’ll have to wait several months for right now… Or because I’m already waiting on stuff for 2 planned builds. The only thing I’ve really been eyeing is GMK Lux.

As we are about a month away from the end of summer and start of fall, Corona is still here and effecting keyboards, and the entire world. Normally in the fall I’d have a Meetup in NorCal, but unfortunately that won’t be a reality this year.

One interesting thing that Covid19 has changed has been the introduction of online discord ran meetups. There have already been a few, and no doubt we’ll be seeing more and more!

With that in mind, Covid19 has definitely impacted my planning and considerations for a meetup. Now it’s time for me to start laying the foundation for a possible NorCal Virtual Meetup :slight_smile:

Speaking of virtual meetups, Keycon is less than a month away now :smiley:

I still wish I could’ve made that trip out to Denver but it’ll be interesting to see how they do everything over Discord.

I am hearing some anecdotal reports regarding another round of supply chain disruptions. Early CNY shut downs etc. Anyone with insights specific to keyboard related goods?
