I just built the least usable keyboard ever. AMA

it is a very nice little keyboard

Think this has crossed over from being a keyboard into a functional keycap display.

I’m not sure it even does that very well but I think y’all are underestimating the power of layers!

you were so preoccupied with whether or not you could you didnt stop to think if you should

Keyboards, uh, find a way…

Yea for sure. Clean up whatever you want, it got a little offtopic and gnarly.

>literally anything on this board being described as functional

This keyboard is the greatest thing I’ve seen in the longest time.

Alphas+1Layerkey is the new hotness.

You inspire me.

I don’t know why, but I want to build a custom 10u spacebar on a layout that is barely useable.

This is not funny, this is actually pretty damn good. A spacebar as wide as a keyboard itself.

But your keyboard is too small. We need 16U spacebar at least. So I can type with my forehead if I want.

Someone already did that https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/84vwdy/my_space_oddity_30_is_complete/?utm_source=reddit-android

@dario too

No problemo. We could use a typewriter spacebar as the skeleton, mold a longer key and then build a pcb that will let us have a switch upside down.

it does look really cool though. :ok_hand:
