I won’t be able to get this set, but I am really excited with the possiblities that this will make possible for other sets. I’ll definitely keep an eye for the next ones.

You know what Topre really needs?

A set of THICK PBT caps. To my knowlege, there isn’t any thick keycaps set for Topre stem in existence, and I’m not aware there was any ever.

Now… when I say thick, I mean really fuckin thick. Something like Vortex blanks.

And when it comes to design, it would be great to see something very simple and yet effective. Like this:

Now imagine that. A Topre keyset that doesn’t look like shit (they all do), and is 2,5mm thick. Excuse me, I’ll have to go, I think I just got an errection…

Varmilo 1.45mm~ pbt don’t fit, so I doubt 2,5mm thick keycaps would. :smiley:

What do you mean don’t fit? No space left for implementation of topre stem?

It binds on to the housing, you can push through it with force but I wouldn’t recommend it.

You mean housing of the switch itself is too big to allow thick PBT keycaps as they start to grind against each other? I’m not sure is this what you meant?

Can we stop milking the 9009 thing already and maybe do something else? Also, those diamond keys are more hideous than the windows keys.
