I feel the new milkshakes are thinner, if you get the new ones can you confirm? (LED leaking through the keycaps)
Do you have LED Leaking pics? I can try doing a 1-1 comparison with the same legend KAT Alpha keycaps I have to see if they have that issue too
First: lets appreciate the keycaps themselves. They have been mounted on GK64 with Zealios V2.
Under Ambient Lighting, LEDs are of
With Backlight on, under ambient room lighting.
The Zealios V2 is probably the worst switch to test it on, given it is transparent. I see the LED is shining through the coloured keycaps, even when the room is fairly lit. The alphas do not seem to be bleeding any light under normal room lighting.
Without any ambient light (darkroom) with LEDs
Notice that even the R1 and R4 alphas begin to bleed LED lighting. Though it is much less than the coloured keycaps.
I do not have a set of callipers on me, and my country is under lockdown, would try to get measurements and update.
I dunno man, it’s white plastic, were you expecting it to completely block the light? What color is the set you’re comparing it to?

I’ve been reading a lot of good things about KAT’s sound profile. What are your thoughts?
Some keycap sets make generic nods to sound quality, but premium audio design was a serious consideration in KAT profile. The interior walls of its keycaps are angled such that sound is reflected in a precise pattern. That should, when coupled with high wall thickness, provide sharp clicks and muted clacks.
