Were you hit with any tariffs on the order from Keyboard Treehouse? They are on the list for a flat 10%… scratch that it was just increased to 12.5%

They charged me duties on checkout and I haven’t received any bills from the shipping company. So you can see what the duties will be on checkout. I think it was a lot, like 20%. Not great, but that’s the shitty US we live in now. Sure hope elections can help to fix some of this nonsense.
It’s a lovely board. I haven’t built it yet, but I can tell it’s going to feel and sound nice. I have to experiment with some different switches.

The PC version of the Hippo looks so funny because it almost looks like an optical illusion. Like a bigger keyboard ate a normal sized TKL.

Got my DSA Honeywell caps. Love how thin caps feel on tactile switches (type-r here)
So now I own Honeywell in Cherry, DCS, DSS, and DSA
Still need SA profile

Looks great. I recently pulled out my “Phoneywell” DIY board and I’ve been enjoying the DSS on heavy linears. Such a classic colorway. I don’t have SA Honeywell, but I’m still thinking about where to put my SA Oblivion/Hagoromo.

Not today but a few days ago, I got my $40 21KB key caps. I have several sets, but this is the first yellow set that I’ve purchased. I’ve posted photos here comparing the yellow caps to a standard beige set in different lighting
I like them a lot. I think they might look best on a black keyboard.
