Adding a USB controller/interface to a wireless only PCB?

Apologies if I am using the wrong terminology, but I am curious if it’s possible to solder a usb interface onto this keyboard https://www.keebmonkey.com/products/keebmonkey-x-ambit-kb68-budget-keyboard-kit. As far as I am aware, this keyboard is manufactured/designed by Arbiter/CIY and I can’t really find much information on those two companies other than the usual taobao wholesale buying. It is a very cheap board (probably for a reason) and I want to try my hand at re-flashing the board to be QMK compatible as well as adding a USBC port to it, as the board is wireless only.

Here is a screenshot from a youtube video that opened up the keyboard to reveal the stuff inside it. This shows what I assume is the wireless controller. https://youtu.be/uTsE6ncOvgs

Any help is appreciated!
