Yeah my sentiments exactly too, I really wish Cherry would focus on smoothing out their molds some. I get the scratch is almost looked at as a feature nowadays, but I feel like there is significant room to tone it down & still have that feel. Also the more I think about it Cherry moving their manu all to China for switches might not be as bad as I fear.
If you think about it the Chinese manus are pumping out the best switches right now as far as feel & sound go. I’d like to say durability as well but its honestly to early to say that about anyone other than Gateron & maybe Kaihl. Thats the one thing I’ve felt Cherry has had over the newer manus as we all have seen decades old Cherry switches harvested & used in modern boards where they work just fine. I guess we’ll find out once Cherry starts putting out switches from their Chinese manu, not sure when that might be though.
