Hi, this is my first post. I am not sure how to describe my problem but ill try. Firstly i have the Ajazz ak820 pro, when i first started using it, instantly the keys started giving me double inputs(sometimes 3) i though it was just bad switched at first since it isnt a good keyboard, anyway so i didnt pay it any mind, but then it was just getting worse and i returned it, a new one came which had the same problem. I looked up what could be causing and saw that changing the debounce time in the keyboard software might help and it did however the setting in my software isnt called debounce it’s called “key response time” and it has 5 levels 1 - 5 and in that setting it does mention “key chatter” i guess im stupid the first time around whatever tho. I just want to learn if raising that level (each level has higher delay parameters) raises the input lag of each key i press even by millisecond. sorry if i did something wrong! And Thanks in advance.

Yes , all debouncing algorithms add delay, either at the downstroke (for commonly used debounce algorithm) or at he upstroke.
You will not feel the added 5ms delay, unless you are one of the most sensitive player on the planet (in this case a hall effect keyboard would be of use).
I currently have it on level 3 which is around 10 ms does that mean I get 10 ms lag on the downstroke?
At least 10ms yes.
Alright thanks boss!
