Just interested if you guys see anything cool come across your feeds that may be keyboard related. I did see the Coolermaster SK line of boards with Cherry low profile switches. I think these were around at Computex but it looks like they’ve set a release date for March. I would be interested to try those switches at some time. Always down for trying new tech out.
Didn’t see too many interesting keyboard related releases at CES, but I did get to try a board with low profile MX Reds. They didn’t feel that great in my opinion, the short travel made them feel similar to laptop chiclet-style scissor switches. The bottom out is soft and feels a little bit cushioned, making them feel even more like scissor membrane switches. Not bottoming out is difficult while typing, but they are quieter than regular MX Reds.
