Fun Between your Legs! (Cycling Thread)

There are lots of good lights out there these days.

The headlight I happen to have is from the company Moon, which I’d never heard of previously. The light impressed me, though - I’d gotten it for the holidays a few years ago, charged it, used it once briefly and then forgot it after a move. Pulled it out of a box over a year later and the thing still lit up bright as can be.

As for taillights - I think I have a different one now that came on a trike I got from someone - it’s great I just can’t remember the name. One I DO remember is the PlanetBike Superflash - I used these things for years; almost every real ride I’ve been on had one of these on my seatpost.

It takes two AAA batteries, is super bright, lasts a reasonably long time, and has a quick release mount.

It’s a rainy afternoon here so we’ll be staying dry and inside for this one.

That frame looks wonderful!

Is that at a local beach or sandy/hilly recreational area?

It’s near Denver at the Cherry Creek reservoir. There’s a small mountain bike practice track. Still sorta doing shake down on this bike. So far very into this Shimano 12 speed groupset. The XT brake levers are incredible.

We got a puppy recently and I want to be able to take him places/everywhere with me so my touring bike got converted to a hauler. I’ve always wanted a cargo bike and have an in production new touring frame coming in the summer, so this seemed like a fun project. We’ve been working on being comfortable in the basket, it just went on the bike today.

Alrighty I did 10 miles yesterday on my quest to get to 50 miles a week consistently so I can get back on track after not cycling for a few months -_-

Yay for progress!
