Timber Haven – A masterpiece of miniature design
Join us in exploring the dream house of your collection in the new Timber Haven series, a new addition to your collection. With this design, we have focused on the most minor details with meticulous casting techniques and subtle colour transitions. Each detail, from the trees to the fences, tree trunks, leaves, green grass, and even individual tiles, has been carefully crafted, with sizes ranging from 1.89 to 5.3mm.
Compared to the previous series, we have focused on designing the house to showcase each detail, from window frames to individual blocks and even the wooden front door. With four different scenes and eight colourways, we have recreated the scene of a house at other times of the year, from dawn to dusk.
We have employed layer-by-layer casting techniques to achieve 78 different details in the entire design, using 34 different colours. Each layer requires 8-16 hours to complete, ensuring the previous layer is fully dry before applying the next layer. The key to this design is that the layers are precisely controlled to be between 0.2-0.5mm thick, allowing for subtle transparency when the final layer is applied, permitting the LED light from the stem to shine through to each window and exterior detail, creating a genuinely realistic scene.
With our technical achievements, the finishing touches include meticulous cleaning, rigorous quality checks, and careful packaging. After all these steps, these keycaps are ready to find a place in your collection.
