The Group Buy for the KeyI-84 has been extended for one week from today! One more order is needed to hit MOQ! If you have been seeing those 4 function calculators hitting the top of .r/mk and wished you could have a fully featured graphing calculator with custom switches, this is what you have been waiting for! We have designed 2 PCBs that connect to the original PCB of a TI-84 Plus CE, a custom aluminum top (with angled display) and bottom plate, and a set of keycaps to be produced by Signature Plastics containing all the legends from the original calculator. This does not change the function of the calculator in any way, and is a hardware only modification, which does not have to be tethered to a computer and retains the original calculator’s battery. Types of Kits:
We are offering 3 packages, all of which include a top and bottom plate, PCBs, misc hardware, and custom dye sub PBT keycaps from SignaturePlastics. The first is the Kit, which is just the parts necessary to modify your own TI-84 Plus CE (this requires some harder disassembly/soldering, check the product page to see some videos about the process). The next is the Partially Assembled Kit, where either you send in a calculator or we provide one, and we do all the hard parts of the modification, you only have to solder on your own switches and screw together the case parts. Finally, we are offering a fully assembled KeyI-84 with your choice of switches. For more info on the different options and what tools you will need, see the product pages.

This timeline should account for delays due to the state of the world, but with group buys there is always some level of flexibility required. We will keep everyone updated if the timeline has to change.
Group Buy Info:
GB will run from 4/27 until 5/27. Minimum Order Quantity is 10 kits of any type in total. For the first 10 orders, we will only put holds on accounts but not actually charge them. If MOQ is not hit, the transactions will be canceled. Otherwise you will be charged once the 10th order is placed.
Shipping Info:
Right now it looks like it will be flat rate priority USPS mail. Our website is only prepared for domestic US shipping. If you are outside of the US, you can either use a proxy, or email us at abstractkb@gmail.com with the subject “International Shipping” and we can try to work something out.
Calculator Info (Partial/Fully Assembled Only):
If you have a used/already purchased calculator (TI-84 Plus CE), you can send it in to us. Select that option on the product page, place your order, then send an email to abstractkb@gmail.com with the subject “Order ### Calculator Mail” (insert your order number for ###). If you place the order with this option, but don’t send an email, we will try to contact you, but within a week of the groupbuy ending you must get in contact with us. If not, your order will be refunded except for the 3% paypal fee.
Switch Info (Fully Assembled Only):
If you are placing an order for a fully assembled KeyI-84, you will have to either send switches to us or order them directly to us. To facilitate this, place your order, then send an email to abstractkb@gmail.com with the subject “Order ### Switch Mail” (insert your order number for ###). If you place the order with this option, but don’t send an email, we will try to contact you, but within a week of the groupbuy ending you must get in contact with us. If not, your order will be refunded except for the 3% paypal fee.
