Does anyone know if angle modding Graphite is okay? Because reaching M and P with my middle finger is just painful. Or if angle cheating on this layout has any major disadvantages because that seems to be what I’ve been doing
I am open to alternatives to Graphite as long as they are still very similar (maybe 2-3 keys changed)
Unless I’m reading the diagram wrong, aren’t you meant to reach M with your pointer finger not middle finger.
I read it like:
Light blue = pinky
Purple = ring
Red = middle
Orange = index
I think you might be mixing up orange and red

My bad I meant to say “aren’t you meant to reach P with your pointer finger” but when I looked down at my own QWERTY keyboard that is where ‘M’ normally resides so I said M in my message lolol. Still doesn’t address how you hit ‘M’ in the graphite layout with your middle finger but yea.
Did you opt for the angle mod? How did it go?
I noticed that both Keybr and Monkeytype have “Graphite Angle PK” layout, thought I’d give it try

Yes, modding graphite is totally fine. I’m using it modded (angle mod + CV swapped + KP swapped + [,./] block from QWERTY) since July 2025. I find it pretty comfortable. Here are the results so far:
