Hello all. I have kind of a weird question. I started using Haimu x Geon HG Yellow Silent switches in an ortho setup. I really like how quiet the switches are stock, but I really like the tactile bump: it’s smoother than most other tactiles I’ve tried, but it starts right at the top and the travel is a full 4mm.
Does anyone know which other tactiles that are similar, either from Haimu or another manu: no pretravel, round bump, and 4mm travel? I did take a look at the HG Whites, but the stem travel is only 3.6mm.
Thanks all

Silent tactile or not? I don’t think you will find a full travel silent tactile unless it shares the same Haimu “cutout in the stem” design…

The only kind of “true” short pole heavy tactiles remaining are the Zealios V2s and the Durock T1s. The two of them are the only ones with a short stem pole and regular housings, both with roughly 4mm of travel (the Durocks are 3.8mm).
There is also the Durock Blue Lotus which is a long pole but it has 3.7mm travel which is a little bit more than most other long poles.

There’s the Rem (v1) from zFrontier that’s basically the same thing as the HG Yellow but with a diffuser. EDIT: Whoops, sorry, seems the Rem (v1) is slightly shorter than full travel (3.8mm), something I’d not noticed when comparing it to the Yellow. Sorry about that!
The Haimu Whisper and Wuque Studioes Silent Tactile are almost the same, as well, but are just recolors.
Are you looking for silent/dampened tactiles with full travel, or just tactile? For the later there are a lot more choices.
Actually, looking at SwitchesDB - Analyse keyboard switches force curves seems that the HG Yellow is ALSO a 3.8mm travel. So, not /quite/ the full 4mm, but close enough for jazz.
So I restore my recommendation on the Rem V1. Also might want to look at the Invokeys Daydreamer, as it’s also 3.8mm and one of my favorite silent tactiles – not quite as much kick as the HG Yellow, but pretty darn close.
Pretty much all of the other silent tactiles I looked through were shorter travel than 3.8mm – only thing close was the Kailh Midnight Pro Tactile (ignore MK’s listing, the switch DB has it between 3.6 and 3.8mm)
Halo Trues and maybe Clears meet these requirements, they’re just not silent. Wanting something like them but silent (so the bottom out is cushion-y) is how I found out about HG Silent Yellows in the first place!

I got some Gazzew U4Tx switches on a whim. They have a 3.6mm travel, but not as full of a tactile bump as the Haimu Whites or Yellows. I enjoy them stock (mostly because lube doesn’t appear to change much of anything sound-wise).
