I’m gyeol(결), an artisan keycap maker based in South Korea.
To be completely honest, I initially dove into this world because I got fascinated by the business side of artisan keycaps. The market, the community, and the incredible creativity here just blew me away. But as I started developing my own products, I completely fell in love with the craft itself.
My wallet has been crying ever since I got into this hobby, but I absolutely love it here.
I’ve spent a lot of time honing my craft, obsessing over tight tolerances, and trying to capture some unique aesthetics—like the fluid, warm curves of Korean traditional clothing (Hanbok)—into my sculpts. After countless failed prototypes and filled research notebooks, I finally feel ready to step out of the shadows and join this amazing community.
I’m really excited to show you guys the fruits of my labor very soon! I honestly wish I had discovered this place much sooner, but I’m so glad to be here now. Moving forward, I’d love to check in often and share my ongoing journey and stories with all of you.
