Inspiration

This comes from Mr Orson Welles, pictured above as the villain in his film Touch of Evil, who played a significant role in developing the genre as both a director and actor. This set, previously run in the SA profile, benefits from some of the quality-of-life benefits that GMK MTNU offers, like a lower profile, while retaining the legend placement of SA, which, in my opinion, fits the theme much better. Given this inspiration, this set is designed to invoke the genre through its color selection and the imagery used in the novelties.

Nice to see this colorway make a comeback! I’m definitely a fan of the colors but wasn’t so into it being ran in SA. In MTNU though, I’m down!

Thank you, is there anything else that you would like to see with this set?

There are two areas I think we can do something: an XT row, which has some artwork, and a deskmat, which there is nothing, but I would pattern it on old movie or pulp fiction artwork?

An XT row even in a child kit would be really nice as I have picked up a few boards recently that have XT rows. Also I think if the XT row was made with novelties would actually be a really good ideal, as they could be used elsewhere other than an XT row. Definitely a better ideal than the traditional F or M caps for XT!
