It’s an improvement alright… But I have to wonder if BOX switches just aren’t cut out to have a good sound signature like MX are.

Just FYI I am going to lube the whole set. I just wanted to see if a difference was noticeable on a per-switch level. The top row of this keyboard sounds pretty much the same in different switch positions, but I know it’s not an ideal test.

The lubed ones definitely sound better to me. They have a slightly lower pitch & the lube takes away any rattly or high pitched noises you can hear in the unlubed ones. How do the Crystals feel? Are they basically a recolored BOX Royal?
I’m just waiting on Mike to get these for some actual PCB mount clickies. If they weren’t so damned expensive, they’d be great for a big, thick board that really deserves Jade or Navy switches.
