Keymacs V515N: Lispsaver

For those of you who do not know my project, for a couple of years I have been interested in making reproductions of Symbolics keyboards. In recent years, I also made a couple of Space Cadets and I have decided to go more mainstream by making V5xx Series of keyboards. The first model is a 60% keyboard (here with Alps SKCM Cream Damped switches, i.e., the worst sounding vintage alps ):

This is basically a minified version of the new-style Symbolics design, unlike the previous models, the case is slightly higher so now I can support MX switches as well. The V5xx Series is meant to be as general as possible, the only constraint is 5 rows of keys. The layout, size, and shape of the keyboard can be arbitrary. I have also made this V507QT numpad/navpad as an example:

I’ve been following your projects for several years @lispnick and I can’t quite describe just how happy seeing your work makes me. Your keyboards are like some kind of evidence that we live in a universe of free will and goodness. If I were a philosopher of metaphysics I would coin the “Keymacs practical postulate of goodwill moral libertarianism,” or something.

Ok I know that’s ridiculously over the top, but I’m only half joking. Keep up the amazing work!

Seriously. It’s stuff like this that keeps this hobby alive and interesting. The progression and work has been bonkers.
