Long story short
Bought a Duck Raven about a decade ago. Desoldered it about 6 years ago with plans to rebuild. Just rebuilt today.
I decided to add a caps lock led to match the red side leds.
It flashes about every 1.5 seconds. No idea why. When the caps lock is on it’s steady and turns OFF every 1.5 seconds. I figure surely there’s a way to change that behavior in the firmware, but I’ve assigned every available LED function to a key and nothing seems to change it.
Anyone with experience in O2D or with a raven/sidewinder/eagle?

The LED for caps lock is an indicator for which layer you are on, so if you were to make a toggle for 2nd layer, switching to the 2nd layer will blink twice instead of once. Same applies for 3rd and 4th which blinks the amount based on layer. I believe there is no caps lock indicator no matter how hard I tried looking for it in O2D.

That makes sense. I was wondering why it sometimes flashed twice. I guess I was in layer2 for a bit.
I suppose I can just desolder it.

O2D… Now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time.
Indeed! I forgot how to use it and did a search… where I found a post on Geekhack by me explaining how to use it. Oh boy. I’m at THAT stage.
