I pulled the trigger on a teal one

Thick plate and ribs under PCB, this looks good and I like the layout but it will be like typing on a brick. So pass for me.

Also I don’t understand the single 1u blocker layout, but I guess someone out there likes it.

Yeah that layout is weird to me too. I don’t mind a rigid board for some switches though.
