Mouse DPI control on keyboard?!

Have a new Keycool KC-SP64 that apparently reserves two function key sequences to “DPI +” and “DPI -“. Presumably this is associated with gaming and mouse operations.

I’ve done some preliminary looking around and it’s not evident that this is a wide-spread or standardly available function of keyboards. Anyone have more information on how this work and point me to where I can find out more?

It looks like anything running QMK could do this. That wouldn’t be anything name-brand from a box store, but there are plenty of QMK enabled boards around:

If the same functions are available on TMK, you could use hasu’s USB to USB converter on any USB keyboard out there for the same functionality
