Hello , i need a keyboard for gaming . I mainly play TacFPS games , i was looking around and found a keyboard from Sikakeyb castle hm80 in a budget price which i am comfortable spending. People reccomended morkblade mk60 saying ithe the best stock prebuilt avaible but it costs 250$ and i wanted to ask if its that good compare dto the one i found that its worth getting? Anyways what would you guys reccomend in a 150$ budget ( got a ducky one 2 mini for 6 years now so anything would be upgrade ngl lol)
So I’m not deeply clued in on the HE/TMR scene, but my understanding is that software is deeply important to making the experience a good one, and that Wooting and Keychron have the best software.
For TacFPS I’d care more about the software and HE implementation than the case or stock sound.
If your budget is around $150, I’d probably look at Wooting and Keychron first just because their software is mature and you know features like rapid trigger and adjustable actuation are going to work properly.
The HM80 may be good value, but I’d want to see long-term feedback on the software before buying. I personally wouldn’t jump from $150 to $250 for the MK60 unless there’s a very specific feature or build quality difference you really want.
Coming from a Ducky One 2 Mini, even a solid modern HE board should feel like a pretty big upgrade for FPS.
