Just a quick hello. Started getting into mechanical keyboards a couple months back. Read a bunch on reddit, bought some used boards and DIY kits from r/mechmarket, still have a hard time with how expensive some things tend to go for on the secondary market but occasionally there are some deals. I learned to solder and built a board which was a fun project. Unfortunately I am not a fan of the layout so it hasn’t gotten much use. My most recent interests include compact 1800 boards and Topre. I recently picked up a gently used FC980C and really like it aside for the tough to read black keycaps.
