Behold!

This was by far the most time consuming ‘build’ ever. I started resembling this thing at 9 am. It is now 4:30. I encountered a problem at nearly every step of the process.

Well worth it though. It’s.been my dream to own one of these ever since Chyros did his review.

And oh yes, I powdercoated the plate gold

There will be a nice thick coily cable at some point.

Excuse my terrible lighting, but this thing is sublime, although the spacebar is rattling and I’m not sure why lubed and filmed tealios with C3 stabs, mkultra plate foam, and foam I cut myself in the bottom. I was going to look at getting like 2048 or oblique or something to put on here but red riot is actually pretty

yeah, more lube is probably the answer haha. The heft is awesome, this board is a chunk for sure. The only other 60% I have that even comes close is the fjell. It definitely ain’t going anywhere on my desk, and I gotta be careful not to drop it because I would be worried about my floor.

This is the first board I’ve had with cerakoting, and I’m not sure how I feel about that yet. It feels nice to the touch but I’m just not sure I’m sold on it, it seems to get dirty really easily.

That’s funny. I hadn’t thought about it that way, but since you mention it, I’d be surprised if there is a 60% out there that weighs more than the modern m0110.

Thanks! I think red riot is definitely an underrated kit, the red color is really nice irl, almost like a brick. I also just like how silly it is, it’s a JTK set, and the story I heard is that JTK doesn’t have blank molds, so it’s actually double shot with the same color for both and then JTK sets are sorted by hand, and it was such a pain in the butt for them to sort the row profiles that they said no more blanks, which is why there hasn’t been another blank set from them since.

Finally got my Sanctuary Rebirth set in! Overall it came out great IMO. The only complaint I have is my 6.25u & both 7u spacebars are warped pretty badly. I shot TKC an email about it yesterday, but have yet to hear back from them.
