Came in yesterday, I got the fifth and final piece for my major 122-key Model M variants puzzle!
A PC-compatible battlecruiser; IBM PS/2 Host Connected Keyboard (P/N 1397003) from 1997 made by IBM UK. It was originally German QWERTZ, but I swapped the alphanumeric and left function-key bank keycaps to something (almost) UK English and to suit my planned layout for this. However, I kept many of the German keys as a key to its origin and to keep as many as the lovely light-blue sub legends as possible!

Built my Meridian today with silent switches:
(MX Silent Red stems, NK_Dry Housings, 58.5g springs, 3204 lube)
9009 with Rudy accents.

Silent red stems in NK Dry housings? Interesting combo! How’s you liking them so far? I was tempted to stick with the silent black stems in the G80-3494 I’m modding up, but decided against it cause I still have yet to find a silent switch I really like TBH.
They’re really close to MX zilents. They’re better because they have less wobble. However they don’t feel as slippery smooth as zeal housings.
For sure would recommend over any stock silent linear out there. Although I still say MX silent stem in a zeal housing is slightly better.

How do you like the lower angle inward of the alphas compared to Alice? I am assuming you have typed on an Alice layout

I own 2 Alice boards. Unfortunately I have found that the standard 12 degree Alice ergo tilt makes my wrists hurt after a while. It’s strange. It’s similar to what happens when I tried ortho for a few weeks.
But this 8 degree ergo bend is great. Very comfortable. No learning curve at all.

Very cool, glad to here. I was pretty interested in the Meridian but I have cooled on the Alice layout. I like it, but I don’t think I love it so much that I want more than one board. I might have to upgrade to a Meridian in the future though. I like the bottom row on it. Great board!

Really love the GMK Phantom there, looking back on that set now and its def one of my favorite sets.

That’s actually GMK VoC with the Purple Alphas, but I agree, Phantom is definitely a great looking set.
