Replacing PCB pads

In an incredibly bad stroke of luck, the return key on my new M0116 stopped working.

It looks like the PCB pads for the return key came unstuck. This, in turn, caused the pads to wobble with every keystroke, and that eventually tore the traces, which is when the key stopped working and I noticed the problem.

So much for keeping this board in pristine condition! I’m going to be spending some time looking up tutorials on on replacing the pads.

Any tips are welcome!

In this case, it looks like you’ve got clear paths to some nice through-hole components, so a couple of short bodge wires ought to do the trick.
