MFW 24¢ switches can sound like a million bucks with a little TLC
Thread revival, that sounds pretty good, although I never thought of a stock gat yellow to sound good (or most stock gaterons imo) compared to an alpaca. How would you compare it to one with 205g0? It sounds higher pitched to me but sound tests can vary quite a bit. RO-59 sounds interesting but that’s quite a process.
I’ve not tried it on MX, but for my topre sliders I just bag lubed the stems and left them in a colander to dry for 24 hours. Did 3 coats this way and assembled, and they are great. Would be worth the effort to try MX.

Is there any guide on lubing with RO-59? Like how do you dry the stems? Do you lube then put it on top of the spring in a switch to dry?

I leave it sitting in a metal strainer for 24+ hours, depending on the temperature and humidity. @JasonATXBS has had luck using oven drying to speed the process.
