Single-switch, handwiring, hotswap pcb, any experiences?

just found this

Sounds interesting but I’m wondering how the hotswaping would work, because you would have to somehow mount the single pcbs against the case wouldn’t you?

Got some boards and hotswap sockets.
Now I only have to finalize how the board should look like :grinning:

Any kind of plate up top? or just going to have the switches connect only through the hot swap sockets and pcb mount pins?

@Manofinterests pteron like plate planned. Thumbkeys using low profile choc switches.
Originally planned to use Bluetooth , but I think I will stay away from the complexity for now .BlueMicro V2.0c (nRF52832, QMK nrf52 fork) vs Jian keyboard - YouTube might be finally be a good solution for Bluetooth. Will probably use a proton-c already ordered a while ago but did not use as of now.
