I’m trying to deactivate the tilde key and then remove it, replace it with the 2U back space key: can anyone do this? Even on another board maybe? Maybe it’s a universal trick??
Unfortunately that’s not how Topre boards work. You’re stuck with what you got. The only bodge job I see feasible is to get a 2u POS style keycap which will fit over 2 standard spaced 1u stems, and then use it on the board after you disassemble it and remove the capacitive spring under the tilde key
No there is a way: it’s even in their promo video.
(I got it, somone told me it’s FN1 plus Tilde for 10 seconds.)
