I came across this old keyboard but it has very little identifying info on the outside. No logos, just a serial number. 5 pin din connector, switches seem to be linear, no sound at all, backplate is all metal.
I took a few photos. Just wondering if anyone might have some insight into what it might be.
Maybe a relatively cheap IBM Model F replacement keyboard from the first half of the '80s. Still pre-standard layout with the Model F-ish arrangement and all the stepped caps, but already with MX switches. Just disassemble it, the PCB will probably reveal more info.
