Dear KT fellows, I am curious to know if there is anyone having experience in modding vintage mx black switches from linear to tactile. I love my vint blacks, treat them gently, but I am still missing the tactile feel of an hmx retro j or hydra, or the gazzew boba U4T switches I have in some of my boards. After thoroughly searching descriptions about vint cherry switches I have come to the idea that making a frankenswitch with cherry mx black housing and cherry mx clear stem could solve my problem. I know vint mx clears are hard to find but I would pursue this further if this idea appeared to be viable. Anyone having experience in such a challenge? Many thanks!
