One of my favorite things about modern sample-based music - whether we’re talking hip-hop beats, any given flavor of vaporwave, or some crazy sound-art - is all the older jams it exposes me to. I’ve found and enjoyed all kinds of stuff I might not have come across otherwise - and today’s is no exception.
If you ever listen to Future Funk, chances are you’ve heard bits of Body Rap already, and in a few different places.
I’ve getting into synt/retro wave lately and this have swiftly become a favorite.
The 8-bit version of an In Flames record is surprisingly beautiful and fun to listen to. The different melodies and the way they harmonise can sometimes be hard to hear if you are someone who’s not into metal music, so this format can really help you hear the music from another perspective. Hope you like it
If you are into (European) deep house music, you will enjoy listening to this Loca FM MP3 stream from Spain: http://s02.fjperezdj.com:8056/live
This deep house is surprisingly easy to work and concentrate with.
MF Doom’s debut album is always a great one to go back to
Operation: Doomsday
Got some plastic in the mail today, but it’s not a keeb. On vinyl, legend of the Amiga demoscene, Odyssey

I had an Amiga in the blissful time when PCs had EGA unless you spent like 4 grand. These demos used to blow my friends away.
I’m still kinda blown away TBH. I lived through it, so I can easily imagine this from the source. Of course, we had no money at all and no computer. My brother-in-law built a computer for me from spare parts in 1996, which was my first true computer. It blew my mind that I could own a computer. Before that it was mostly using computers as word processors in the school computer labs. Oh, and of course text-based email clients. I think they were running Pine.
A nice discovery if you like electronic music like me,
The nice part is that you can download sets on your computer to listen them offline
I’m shuffle’ing this playlist today.
Playing any of these on repeat.
