What are you playing today?

Love Plus is a DS game, using an R4 to play it. I beat the AA trilogy many, many moons ago and I’m on the 3rd case of Apollo Justice right now and I’m enjoying it!

I just started playing Gold Rush on steam and its definitely one of those games I can zone out playing while listening to music and have a couple hours pass without realizing it.

I’ve been playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamond for the past couple of weeks. The original Diamond version was the last Pokemon game I played, so I figured this would be a good re-introduction to the series without having to learn hundreds of new characters.

I will say, although a lot of people complain about every mon in your inventory getting exp, I appreciate that it almost completely eliminates grinding. Definitely makes it a more enjoyable experience if you’re only going to play a couple hours a day. And the postgame content is pretty damn hard without forcing too much of a grind as well.

I think the last Pokemon game I played that had exp. share was Lets Go. I can see the argument for not having it, but if you are constantly switching in new Pokemon into your party, it is quite helpful. I think it lead me to using a lot of mon I typically wouldn’t. Glad you’re having fun!

I picked up Horizon Zero Dawn on the Winter Steam Sale. Not my typical kind of game but absolutely beautiful and a really engaging story!

I’ve been reliving some old memories playing Diablo II Resurrected on the PC.

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the new tft set on league. I skipped some seasons there but I like the new mechanics they’ve added this time it really seems like it shakes things up

I’m having a great time with the new Forza Horizon. I’m generally not into car racing games, but this has been fun! Playing on Gamepass for pc.

Snow Runner: SnowRunner on Steam

I don’t know. There’s something about exploring off road trails and trying your best to get through nature with steady driving, good understanding of the ground, luck, and a winch

An absolutely absurd amount of Factorio, gifted to me by a friend who wanted to make me happy and/or destroy my sleep. Screenshot is a week old and I’m taking a break.

Just finished the Halo Infinite campaign today. And I see that Game Pass now has Death’s Door available. So I’ll be hitting that up next.

No interwebs at the new place yet, so this will do in the absence of MonkeyType:

Been playing this for several years. I’m also playing this now with a modded play through with angels/bob. So much fun!

After Battlefield 2042 turned out to be a hollow cash grab, we had to look for another casual-compatible shooter. We found Squad and we love it. It’s a slow paced milsim with mandatory voice comms and I’m blown away by the community. Never before have I played a shooter that had helpful, welcoming people embracing teamwork instead of a loud majority of egomaniacs. Oh and sometimes it’s so slow paced, you can drink beer while in game. Perfect.

Waiting desperately for Elden Ring
Or at least until the review embargo lifts
Elden Ring Reviews are scheduled to drop on February 23rd at 07:00 ET / 10:00 ET / 15:00 GMT.

I have this on my Dreamcast. If I’m ever desperate for money, my Dreamcast collection could go for quite a bit of $$$.
