It slaps on your silver Gehrin too! I think this is one of those sets that will go good with most case colors. Also glad to hear your sets were right!

That board is crazy. Nothing else like it in my collection. Lubed MX Zilents in that Hibi case. Glorious thuddy thuds all day. It sounds like I’m tapping on the deskmat instead of a keyboard. It’s heavenly.

Same! I tried it out on a few boards. So far I like red the best. But I still have to try black.
Looks nice on red, and it certainly is close to the same color as my CW88, but I’m thinking black or polycarbonate might be a winner for this one. I didn’t like it on gray, and silver was a bit “meh”

Under these conditions, would you say that the MX Ergo Clears advertised here (clear housing) are MX2A?

I don’t think those are MX2A since the one review mentions them being unlubed. While MX2As don’t feel lubed stock I seen the person opened them up & the glob of lube Cherry puts at the base of the stem well in MX2As is pretty unmissable. Here is the link to the only place I know that are selling MX2A ergo clears, but they’re stupid expensive at $1 per switch unfortunately.

Do they need to be Ergo Clears? GEON has a free international shipping event right now and a discount on MX2A switches (plus in-stock Ergo Clears). Would recommend MX Purples as these are discounted to 36 cents per switch right now and are exactly the same. You could even frankenswitch using nixies tops.

Thanks! Although I would prefer Ergo Clears, I have been meaning to pick up Purples to build for someone else.
So, together with MX2A Brown, that might be a reasonable order from Geon. Hope their Browns are fresh molds. If their springs are good, might order some 14mm too.

Got a lot of stuff but one thing that stood out was some Gateron Beer tactiles. I think I love these switches. I don’t know why.
This switch: Light spring, tactile (light), and shortened travel
My preference: medium spring, linear, full travel.
But I like them a lot. Might solder them in stock.

Gateron (Oil) Mini i are similar in design.
Most people like Gateron Beer, but I personally prefer the snappiness and crispness of Mini i.
