It’s a plate from HypeKeyboards who does custom plate orders so I imagine he ordered it himself. He’s a Canadian based vendor in case you are curious.

The Cipulot EC PCB is the EC FOR KL X available from CannonKeys
The rest of the EC bits (sliders & housings, domes, springs, 2u, and spacebar kit) are all from Densus Design available through KLC
The remaining hardware I had to source from Amazon. I went with M2 3+3mm brass standoffs, and M2 3mm brass screws (I also ordered other M2 3mm screws with flatter heads in case clearance is an issue, bit it looks like I should be fine.
The plate is a custom one from Hype, that I also requested to have their logo added to the WKL blanks (because I absolutely love working with Tom!), and red, because I loved the look of the red half-plate in my current MX setup.
Normally, the holes for the layout Tom has for this plate are M2.5, but I had already had the hardware ordered before he asked me about it. Luckily it was before anything was cut. I also told him I would tap the holes myself, so as to not take up any more of his time as he stays BUSY!!
Here are shots from his IG feed of the plate during and after being cut (Ignore the Naevies EC bit in the corner. While I do have those coming in from Omnitypes sale, I really like the feel of the Densus Design stuff, as I have used them previously on my Monokei Kei V2 build)

So the standoff holes you got for the plate are too small and you need to tap to increase to m2? Just want to make sure I understand this right, been a while since I took metal shop.

A couple days ago, but I got a DCS Vert base kit! I missed the group buy and didn’t think I would own this. Now I just need the 10U bar and chad kit - WTB!

A bunch of switch samples straight from TTC, and two boards from KiiBOOM: silver Moonshadow V2 and pink Cybrix 16.
I don’t even start listing the TTC switches, basically I have all of them on the best-selling switch list now – and more. Just published the Moonshadow V2 review, Cybrix coming later.

More resin per the rules, got a Poor man’s bongo Catbutt from Soom Caps! Then finally got my batch of Keygeek Y2s in from Unikeys & these are really cool switches. They’re specifically made to have a deeper sound profile & they nailed it. Side by side with Y3 which are already pretty deep you can definitely hear the Y2s are deeper. They claim waffling the tip of the stem is what helps it sound deeper than than the Y3s, I tried to get a pic of it for you guys but it is really hard to capture. The pic I got you can at least see the stem tip is textured.

Akko Tac75 HE. Just so i’m more informed when talking crap about (at least the current implementation, vintage HE is fun.) HE. It’s pretty much what i expected. They aren’t any smoother than most modern MX switches despite being contactless, have a slight wobble to them (at least those astro aim switches) and sound, although subjective, is below average imo. I like the rough texture of the keycaps, though. I always prefered rough textures ones over smooth ones, shame that they won’t stay like that for long with my acid fingers.

Ahem. I received this weeks ago but wasn’t allowed to post about it until today: GravaStar Mercury V75 Pro HE Neon Graffiti edition (review). I’m pretty impressed to put it mildly.
Similar to the mechanical Mercury K1 Pro, but magnetic, wired-only in a hand-painted aluminum alloy case. To mounted, carbon plate, and a fancy online configurator with all the usual Hall-effect features, mostly for gamers. The bottom is metal, so it’s much heavier than the K1 was. Otherwise the same aesthetic but with updated internals.
So lots of improvements, but I still prefer the typing feel of the K1 Pro.

A bag of 100 NOS Katano Type-C, which i can now confirm are manufactured not by Katano but by Hosiden, as they have the Hosiden company logo on the bottom. They are on the wobbly side, but really smooth. Like a good batch of mx black kind of smooth.

A Rule60 v3 Raw. I already have 2 of the Rule60 v2, but i just had to have a v3 for the raw version. It has a ball-catch system now and slightly different mounting points. Silicone Gasket mount with Alu plate, Keygeek Clacky, PBTFans crosshair alphas and Aifei WoB mods.

Got my order in from Divinikey’s sale. Nothing crazy, just grabbed 3 TX KB covering cloths, 5 packs of Geon 18mm 50g springs, & 4 packs of Geon 18mm 45g springs. Should be good on those for awhile now!

I use those 18mm 50g geon springs in oil king switches for my Aquanaut and they are very nice!

Just thought it was time, I forgot you have Guts as your avatar too.
Geon springs have been my go to ever since I tried them! The 18mm have been my fav length as I feel they split the “actually feeling like the stated weight vs poppy top out” line the best, but all of the lengths & weights I have tried so far have been very solid. Easily the best springs around since CW springs IMO, super consistent & dead quiet!
