I did this on my VE.A, I can barely do 150 on a standard keyboard. I also type Dvorak, so it’s much easier to consistently do 140-150 than with QWERTY, where I could only do 150 in 5 second tests if the words were easy.
Cherry profile caps are much easier to type fast on than OEM and SA. SA is the hardest, since your fingers have to move much more, and OEM is just a bit too tall.
I also tend to type faster with light tactiles. I used 62g Ergo Clears here, which are about the perfect weighting for my typing style.
