I went to a meet-up recently and saw both GMK Phantom and GMK Metaverse in person. Damn. I already knew that Phantom would have been a dope GB to get in on… but Metaverse really pops. The novelty keys add some much personality to the set as well even if you are not into Persona 5. Too bad both of these will likely never run again. Phantom maybe… but Metaverse is done if I heard right.
Me too… I have yet to see Deep Navy in person and will probably add more salt into the wound if I do so.

For me, @evangs’ rackmount minivan is the “one that got away.”
I’m excited to see there’s a bit of an ecosystem and third-party clones, metal, injection molded plastic, and 3d-printed. I may yet have my rackmount minivan. At least I’ve got DCS Paperwork on order!

I’ve been wanting to try out DCS and there have been a couple of sets lately that have optional 10u spacebars with 7u stab support: DCS Nightfall and DCS Reaper. I missed both but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for extras when they deliver.
Just a heads up, I don’t believe DCS Nightfall has 7u stab support on the 10u bar (it’s 8u IIRC). Though Reaper, Solarized Dark, and Paperwork should all have 7u stab locations on the 10u bar

Blah, you’re right. I was looking at Nightfall when I said that but meant Solarized. Now I’ll just bide my time until those start to ship and see if I can snag an extra.

I regret missing out on the Pingmaster keycap sets. I found the renders to be ugly and underwhelming.
The production pictures look way better than the renders! Should have known SP would pull through on this one.

Oh yeah the Pingmaster keycaps are really nice. I would definitely buy some if they had MX stems, but I don’t use any Alps keyboards other than the M0110 nowadays so I didn’t need them. Shame, because it’s a really good design.
I definitely regret missing out on the JER80S. I didn’t realize how much I love the vintage design until lately when I got into vintage boards again. Would be really nice to have one, especially with the one-off PC bottom.

My entire family is made up of short people with baby-face, and I’m no exception. It kinda sucked until I hit 30; at minimum it’s been more entertaining since then. A few years ago while I was in-between career jobs I was working the front desk at a Best Buy. 90% of the employees were teenagers, a few early 20-somethings, and like three or four actual adults. I was older than most of the management team, but visibly indistinguishable from the bright-eyed kiddos slinging cellphones and protection plans.
I deffo got a kick out of suprising them with my age one by one - I made a point to wait until they already felt familiar with me. Each thought I was “one of them” in terms of generation, and each one just about lost their bottom jaw when they found out I was nearly twice their age, and well into the “too old to trust” range. I think I opened at least one or two minds during my Asset Protection stint, which I’d say makes it worth it.

Ha! Same here. I am half-white, half-pacific islander, which if you don’t know results in eternal baby face until you hit 40.
