I like the word “keeb” (just like how I like the word “vidya”) but I agree that it instantly evokes reddit meme humor, which to me always has been forced.

Great start to this community. Using “keeb” in keebtalk makes even more sense to use “keeb.”
I’m not a fan of saying keeb in keyboard discussion. I was aware some people use it, so I know what it means. I think it’s fine in the name, though. Shorter than keyboard and very readable, so it works well for a URL.
As an older “You kids get off my lawn!” kind of guy “Keeb” doesn’t bother me as much as tacking on “AF” to every sentence like it’s punctuation.
