Yes the modern M0110 was but of a cluster f*** of a group buy. The gray boards had to be re-anodized several times to get the right texture. The cerakote boards got handed off to two different shops for finish. The modern M0110 has a steeper angle and is much thicker and heavier. I believe all of the finished boards had some sort of cosmetic issues, mostly machining marks on the bottom of the case.

I used the original Mac extensively for development but never really appreciated the keyboard other than liking how meaty it was. Maybe I was too busy perusing the yellow telephone book style developer doc to notice but am interested in revisiting what I didn’t notice.
Hopefully someone will give it another try with better result in the near future.
