I thought I would have more time to save and maybe see different offerings of the Heavy Grail (I think a PC variant was mentioned previously…), but it looks like I only have till the end of the year - Panic!
Well, strictly speaking, it’s whenever I sell out of what I have already ordered/produced, which may be before or after the end of the year. For example, I think I only have like one or two of the polycarb Heavy-6 units left, and that’ll be the end of the Heavy-6. The Grails are the ones that I have the most of available (since it was the latest thing I produced), but even in that case we’re well into the R2 stock I had purchased.
I’m trying to do a few polycarb Heavy Grails as a limited holiday offering (Black Friday maybe?), but am not sure if I’ll be able to get everything lined up in time.

It’s an extreme long shot I imagine but I have to ask… what are the chances of this including room for a bigger battery for those that go the aftermarket PCB route (e.g. Hasu)? I wouldn’t dare modify the case myself for this.
will we ever see the heavy grail with compatibility for regular mx styled pcb? 
If you build a plate to fit it, I don’t see why not. From norb directly though, I’d say highly unlikely.

Yeah, if you do a polycarb heavy grail, I’m going to have to pick up another hhkb. Same story with a 23U.
Polycarb heavy grail is the end game of the entire keyboard universe.

For the next version, I would suggest:
MX compatibility on >1u keys as well support for the JIS version of the keyboard.

Hi Ryan! just curious how things stand in terms of the timeline. Is sep 22 still the estimated date for everything to arrive at your place? I cant wait to get those!

Everything has arrived as of last week and we’re diligently working to get all the R1 units on their way, starting (and perhaps also finishing) this week. I’ll also be shooting an assembly instructional video tomorrow.

Happily, looks like we’ll just barely make our “end of summer” projected timeline to start shipping the Heavy Grails. The first ones should go out tomorrow and then it’ll take us several days to get through all the colors and options. I spent all day today shooting the assembly instructional video and will edit it on Thursday to hopefully post that same day.
I’m so happy with how these came out and can’t wait to see what you all think! Thank you so much to everyone who supported this monumental effort!

Well, they’re kinda anywhere I can fit them, and in no particular order. I have more than half of them in keyboard cases in a closet.
I try to switch out my keyboard every few days so that I have a chance to use them all occasionally.

By the way… If one were to over-analyze what you said at the beginning of the video about not making any further batches of this, or any other aftermarket housing, would that be dropping any hints about the potential GOCF Heavy Grail?
