TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE GB:

-the set will be;

  • Cherry profile

  • PBT All-over Dye-subbed

  • This set will be designed by me and u/Jebbra by community’s input. I am basically the hype keeper for this GB.

  • this is one of the example of 5-side dye-sub.

  • The vendor are confimed.
    TheKeyCompany for US Region , backed with zFrontier for EU/China/Asia/Australia/NZ

  • as for the time of the GB, —> soon. waiting for the samples.

PRICING and ECONOMICS thing:

  • The set price is being confirmed with the vendor. should be not far from DSA Drifter.
  • This is still being confirmed, but the MOQ should be around 50 sets. I think this is a realistic MOQ.

I’m assuming this is being made by the same manufacturer as the Led Zep novelty keys?

If so, do you think there will be issues with the black/grey color? Jason (TKC owner, for those that may not know) showed me the dyesubbed Led Zep novelties at KeyCon and he said he was pretty unhappy with the way they turned out. They were kind of navy blue instead of black.

I don’t know about the manufacturer of GMK Ledzep Novelty keys, but the manufacturer of Sanctuary will be the same as DSA Drifter. Is that the same manufacturer? because I have seen @mxblue 's DSA drifter during my time in Australia and it turned out fantastic.

I’m not sure, I know they only had issues with producing a nice, dark, vibrant? black color. I’m assuming it’s due to them dying white caps.

My target for Sanctuary is producing a nice Charcoal grey, I don’t want the black to be a pitch black,

I don’t know if i should be grateful about this.

but, Thank you for your concern, Hiney, I guess I’ll talk to them for producing a prototype.

No problem! Just making sure everything turns out the way you want it to. A prototype or sample is definitely a good idea.

UPDATE!

  1. The kit are sealed as for now.
  2. the samples are coming. as per community input, we are requesting some samples to the vendor, to decide which shade of red and black that we want to use.
  3. The vendor are sealed. this will be handled by TKC, zFrontier and its proxies.
  4. finally, some novelties!
  5. it’s coming close.

Curious, I thought if tkc ran Terminal with mykeyboard, this would as well :stuck_out_tongue: Is it sealed for sure on vendors, no chance for an EU specific vendor?
