It reminds me a lot of a blank set that other dead beat, “Oh Keycaps,” put together: SA Arubian Sea (not going to link to the site as my understanding is it’s taking orders but not fulfilling them).

Also, I can’t believe how fine the detail is on the double shot legends on DSA Petrikeys. Usually if you go super thin with double shot you get irregularities. SP pulls off perfect circles with like a 1 point thickness.
I am relieved this set didn’t use the chunky “trashman mods” that so many DSA sets have used recently. These are downright elegant in how fine the detail is.
People can complain about them all they want, but SP really is top tier for some things.

Their SA keys are still the best IMHO, a notch above Domikey or Maxkey. Fantastic quality, thickness, colors, sound profile. And I have a few sets of each… Love the packaging from Domikey though.
Well, the sole thing that SP does worse than Domikey, Maxkey and even AFSA, is the sideways location of the injection moulding gates.
This leaves important visible artefacts on the sides of SP keycaps that are impossible to correct with fine grit sanding paper because these injection gates even leave holes in the profile.
That and the plastic bags they came in, really shocked me when I received my first SP set, to the point that I first had to reassure myself that I had not received a counterfeit set.
Conclusion: If you need keycaps for a “naked” keyboard without a bezel, then avoid SP. For all other keyboard styles, SP is excellent.

Yeah here Domikey do the right thing by having the sprue marks on the bottom side, they are less visible than GMK for example (where they are on the rear side).

SP keycaps now come displayed on a sheet of cardboard covered with vacuum sealed plastic. Efficient and effective for shipping, but it does go straight in the rubbish bin after opening.
My SP DSS ABS doubleshot caps have sprue marks on the underside of one edge of the keycap.

It has been a while since I’ve commented on an Interest Check (how quaint) because there is such a glut of stuff coming out these days, but this set really has me psyched. I hope it gets made.
It’ll probably cost a pretty penny being SP Dye Sub PBT…

I was really surprised when it showed up on my “watched” topics the other day because I had totally forgotten about it. This started back in 2016, and I’m glad he hasn’t given up. I think it’s pretty novel!
Looking back through the original IC sure brings back memories. Lots of people in that thread no longer really active.
