New Avalanche finish by Salvun for the Salvation
Very cool Similar to Norbauer’s VHS finish
I wonder whether the spacebar will work on a Topre with DES-Sliders, despite the compatibility issues they mentioned in the listing.
Loving the new finishes for the Salvys (looking at my black Salvy wonder where I went wrong…)
Yeah it does remind me of the VHS finish a bit too. Definitely a good time in the hobby for more creative finishes on boards!
A pretty cool keyset GB (Kanamoji). Posted initially here.
The novelties are actually really tasteful. The base set + novelties + colorized mods is around $75.
When asked about quality expectations, this was the reply:
GMK is on a different tier in terms of quality as those are on the high end, doubleshot and material is ABS, while these are PBT and dual-stage dye-sub. Here is a comparison (Kanamoji set = C64) in terms of the following:
• Texture (Smoothness): GMK > C64 > CRP > XMI
• Thickness: XMI > C64 > CRP > GMK
• Sound (Pitch): GMK > CRP > C64 > XMI
• L9/U9 are GMK standard colors

It’s interesting to see a manufacturer/vendor take this ranking approach in discussing quality expectations. I prefer to see macro photos of past runs identifying imperfections, personally, but I could see the appeal of this method.
I did some digging, it’s manufactured by Alephkey from China.
It’s a really cool set, but the only thing that made me not join the pre-order is the lack of 1.5u Super support
I like it a lot. So this is now the 3rd “diamond” switch I’ve seen. I’m hoping they become more readily available in the US market. Maybe Dangkeebs ordered a lot of extra of their Avalon version.
Mykeyboard.eu is having a 50% off sale on a lot of in-stock to clear old inventory (and probably to get cash to pay outstanding gbs). They have a long queue for people waiting for refunds but in-stock has been fine and shipped with in a week based on customers on their discord

New run of the Hyper7 in IC
New run of the Saturn60 in GB
Both chonky bent-steel retro space-program looking keyboards with carry handles. The Saturn is, unsurprisingly, a 60% - now with optional HHKB style layout. The Hyper7 is an absolute monster inspired by the Space Cadet.
Screw in version of the TX AP stabs, looks like it is a new variant. I have yet to try any TX stabs
Hey, sweet! Mekibo takes Apple Pay - I’ve had a rando gift card balance sitting in there so long I’d forgotten about it, and now I have some sweet stabs on the way.
Some new KTT switches; aesthetically these resemble all-POM switches but they have the traditional POM/PC/PA arrangement. From the factory curves, they look a lot like house-brand versions of some switches they’ve done for Akko - but all of these have five pins, which I like.
I’m seeing lots of series themes lately, many of which revolve around food… the donuts might be my fave so far…
MT3 Garnet is available:
It’s MT3. It’s white-on-red. It’s modestly on-sale.
ooh, I haven’t had the urge to get an MT3 set in a while. Nice. Me likey
urge to add 7 more switches to my collection is rising lol
Pretty solid for $199. I know a lot of people enjoy this board, and it looks like v3 might have a few improvements. Might pick up one of the colors that’s not part of the initial in-stock. Maybe the brown or light green. Really like that it’s top-mount if you want. Top mount best mount
They definitely did make some changes, I kind of like them especially the decorative LED. The weight is also redesigned as well. Those are the obvious things I’m seeing anyway. Too bad they didn’t do a polycarb version.
