Interesting Finds & Heads-Ups

Well…I did enquire for one car. Hopefully the price tag won’t be out of this world, or I’ll have to live in it

Still, another thing of my bucketlist. Owning an F1 car, holy sheet.

I wish they would release their macropad

I can’t for the life of me find an aesthetically pleasing and available macropad (~6 key + knob) for a reasonable price (I mean does it have to cost as much as a full keyboard? Or am I just too stingy? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

one day I’ll find one right here, right? :star_struck:

That is pretty cool! if it was available pre-built and QMK?VIA compatible…I don’t even mind that it doesn’t have a case! nice find!

Two very interesting open source PCBs I found, a 60% PCB for Fujitsu Leaf Spring switches and a TKL PCB for Hi-Tek 725 “Space Invaders”. Might have to get some made

KLC-Playground is turning out to be quite a neat little store. They seem to be bringing things here that don’t get a lot of press.

The Triple-A and the Monte Bianco are both beautiful and bold TKLs. The Triple-A has an aluminum bottom, despite all the pictures showing polycarbonate and it looks really sleek. The rounded front of the Monte Bianco must be hell to machine.

Pretty awesome to see a keyboard and contemporary art crossover like this.

A little out-of-my price range, but they are stylish keyboards.

Too bad they only have alum plates. Could be noisy beasts without dampening, maybe, could ping too.

Wonder if the PCB from an HMKB fits any of these. Decent price on the Triple A.

Ironically, the Monte Bianco would probably go well with the PBTfans Klein Blue posted shortly thereafter.

Good to know. That’s pretty classy, I dig that set even more now.

Klein Blue looks like a nice color but the sublegends are pretty mystifying to me and has me out on the set as a result. Unless there’s some Klein reference to Katakana in the catalogue

I’m unsure about those translucent caps after hearing reports of them cracking on the Neon set. Anyone heard an update on that issue?

I have that set. I’ll see what it takes to actually crack one. Anything you’d like me to test specifically?

I just saw people talking about the doubleshot material underneath developing cracks over time, just sitting on the keyboard.

I’ll keep an eye for that. Interesting.

Did you see Wildcat’s video review of the Frog Mini? Appears to be a problem for Geekark as well.
