Keyboards spotting

Just saw this post. I know it’s a bit old but looks like a btc-5100c in a custom case.

Same for me !

@sefixm But what’s the board though?

It might be an IBM Selectric II

I was actually asking about the first board that @sefixm posted, then noticed the second one. The second one definitely looks like an IBM Selectric II.

One side of Christmas Tree made with trash in Riga, Latvia has keyboards, too many to count, let alone identify.

We have scores of that HP full-sized there on the left.

I would buy those keyboards and spams some F’s in chat with them

Nice! As an aside that looks really interesting. Strong black mirror vibes, but also with a retro feel. Thanks for posting!

Edit 2022-04-11 after the first season I can wholeheartedly say this is my favorite show on TV. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it now!

The Intel CPU Box?

Oh – no, but I totally see that. It’s the tongs looking apparatus inside the thing that looks like a CPU box.

When I first saw Wuque’s titanium switch puller I instantly thought the design was innovative and unique. But something bugged me about it.

I know I’ve seen that before …

Then rewatching that episode of Seinfeld, I noticed the candy jar. There was this laundromat near my house growing up where we’d spend literal buckets of quarters playing Street Fighter II and they had almost the same exact setup. Good times.
