They are a very dark brown, almost black. Here’s the comparison with R1 that is white on black:

What did you get in the mail today? (Part 2)

Got a lot of stuff in the mail today but one thing I thought I would mention is PBTFans Resonance R2. I love the original set and I was pleasantly surprised to find that R2 DOES have slightly different main color for the alphas from R1. R2 is a deep deep brown. Almost black, but not black Left is R1 [IMG_6077] [IMG_6078]
