The lighting and color of the keycaps makes the left side of the board look almost weirdly cel-shaded lolol. Very interesting.
i think i might kind of see what you mean. interesting aspect i didnt see before
Cel-shaded keycaps would go crazy though.

There’s been like 2 or 3 keycaps that released recently that have that cel-shaded look.

VKR-94 with CRP on it. Now that I’ve been able to use this board for a little bit I can say for sure that it is a banger! It’s also a thock monster, easily the deepest sounding keeb I have even compared to builds I purposely tried to make deeper sounding. Overall I’d say BA killed it with this design! The sound & feel are both top notch, super clean as well. Not a bad sound to be heard in use, no hollowness or case ping whatsoever. Then even using a stiffer plate like brass, it doesn’t feel harsh in the slightest thanks to really great placement of the attachment points on the plate. Super glad I was able to get in on this board, it’s definitely one I’d consider special!

Freshly built Compact Ergo by Bowl with stock MX Purples, Maiz Stabs (holy shit they are nice!) and GMK Muted. Overall awesome keyboard with a nice sound.

I don’t know, I probably wouldn’t order anything at this point in time. The KARA is SEQ1 from a few years ago. We have to separate the artist from his art, like in many other cases.

After a year-long hiatus from soldering (so many boards are hot swap now) I’ve eased back into with a classic JD40 Mk II and case from Keyboardbelle.
40s take no time to solder it was a joy, especially since this 9 year old PCB uses really high quality gold pads. Should be mandatory on all PCBs

Oh that looks as nice as it looks unusable for daily work! 
These are the only 40s left in my collection:
- A 6 column corne in an o-ring mounted case by Jake from 3DP (sad the shop does not exist anymore!).
- A 5 column corne with a layered acrylic case. I love that layered case because it has a custom cut mid-plate which is quite unique for a corne.
